John is chair of the Watertown Advisory Committee and lives in Theresa. He teaches 7th and 8th Grade band at Indian River Central School, Originally from Baldwinsville, NY, John attended SUNY Potsdam where he studied bassoon at the Crane School of Music and earned both his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in music education. When John is not working with the Indian River Middle School 7/8 band or advising the middle school Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter, he can be found outside running, biking, camping, hiking, gardening or reading. He is thrilled to be able to help the Orchestra of New York by serving as the chair of the Watertown Advisory Committee, with a voting seat on the Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board Development Committee.
