Whether you are a long-time concert attendee or a newcomer, whether you are young or young at heart, or whether you are a fan of the classics, more popular music, or you are not even sure, there is something for everyone on each of our programs. It is an exciting time as ONNY begins a new chapter under the capable baton and programming of our new Music Director and Conductor, Colonel Michael J. Colburn (USMC, ret.). If you have not yet experienced this musical gem of the North Country, there’s no better time to give us a try. From Our New Music Director & Conductor
I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to ONNY’s upcoming concert season, which is loaded with music guaranteed to appeal to the entire family! In October, we’ll begin our season with a program of music inspired by outer space, featuring the music of Haydn, Gustav Holst, and John Williams. Last year’s “Holiday in Brass” program was such a smashing success that we’re bringing it back again this year with all new music to help herald the season. In April, we’ll be delighting in dance music, and featuring music by Beethoven, Respighi, and soloists from the Julia Trio +1 performing Michael Abels’ Delights and Dances.
