Music from the Heart

Our season opens with three heralded works from the 19th century. From the stunning brilliance of the Corsaire Overture and the lush Siegfried Idyll, a gift to Wagner’s wife after the birth of their son, to the sunshine of what was termed by many as Brahms’ Pastoral Symphony, written in the picture post-card Austrian city of Pörtschach, this concert will stir your soul.
