Supporters of the Orchestra

The impact of donors on the Orchestra of Northern New York is profound and far-reaching. ONNY donors provide essential support for programs, whether sponsoring a musician’s chair in the Orchestra, underwriting a youth program or a school concert, and helping to pay the fees of our talented professional musicians. Contributors are our lifeline as their donations represent 63% of the funds needed to produce a season. They enable ONNY to achieve its goals of offering discounts for seniors and students, keeping ticket prices affordable, and hiring the best musicians we can. In short, they make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

The following individuals, businesses, and organizations have our deepest gratitude for their support in the last year.

If you were a donor in 2023-2024 and your name does not appear below, please accept our sincere apology for the oversight and contact Executive Director Kathy Del Guidice to correct our records. This list was last updated September 13, 2024.

Donate Needed Music

A new wish list of music ONNY needs to purchase for the ONNY-Sweetgrass Foundation Music Library is posted below.

Acknowledgement:  All music donors are publicly recognized in our concert programs as a "Friend" of the Orchestra and on the program page when the piece is performed. To ensure lasting recognition of one's gift, each musician's part, including the conductor's score, is dated and labeled with the donor's name(s).

To donate for a music purchase or rental, please contact Executive Director Kathy Del Guidice at 315-212-3440 or executivedirector@onny.org. She will confirm whether a particular work has already been donated by another person.

In-Kind Services

The Orchestra is supported in many ways, including with in-kind donations. These contributions include baking for musician hospitality during rehearsals and concerts, and or donating goods and/or services from local businesses for ONNY auctions and raffles. For more information about becoming an in-kind donor, contact Executive Director Kathy Del Guidice at executivedirector@onny.org or 315-212-3440.
